Shaun Currey is the founder of Hyperspace. With the help of an ever increasing base of artists, adventurers, tinkerers, thinkers and musicians, Shaun has tapped into a deep well of creativity and the opportunity of making "experiences", rather than just events.

Shaun's background and experience is varied. Originally from the outer suburbs of Perth, he found himself quitting his career in the surveying industry to make the dry and desolate pilgrimage across the Nullarbor and into a new life of rock climbing, wood turning, bespoke furniture making, DJ-ing with event building and management - bringing all his passions together. Through his own personal love of the arts and music he eventually created an outlet and a space where other artists could collaborate on projects. Hyperspace was  born.

 

Today Shaun is well seasoned in bringing the right people together to create unique experiences and events quite like no other, for those he calls his "family" - a global tribe of like-minded people. He's even been known to throw the occasional private party in a cave high up on a cliff somewhere, french chef included.
